The City of West Liberty boasts eight public parks. Amenities within the City include a swimming pool with a waterslide, a skate park, multiple ball diamonds, soccer fields, frisbee golf, tennis, a walking trail and much more.

The mission of the Parks and Recreation Department is to provide clean, safe and well-maintained leisure facilities and programs to the citizens of West Liberty based on the comprehensive plan and citizens expectations.

West Liberty Youth Sports

West Liberty Youth Sports has recently come under the umbrella of the Parks and Recreation Department, it  supports athletes participating in Tackle Football, Flag Football, Volleyball, Softball, Baseball, Basketball and Track depending on the season.
