The City of West Liberty offers On-Site recycling to the Citizens of West Liberty. Residents can recycle the following at the public recycling drop off point:

Plastic and Food Grade Containers #1-7
Tin/Aluminum Cans
Newspaper
Office Paper
Magazines
Cardboard (Includes Corrugated/Paperboard)

ALL ITEMS MUST BE:

Clean (No Food or Residue)
NO Garbage Mixed in the Recycling
REMOVE RECYCLABLES FROM PLASTIC BAGS. PLASTIC BAGS (GARBAGE BAGS, GROCERY BAGS) ARE NOT RECYCLABLE AND CONTRIBUTE TO CONTAMINATION

NO dumping of appliances, motor oil, tires, paint, or construction material. These items must be taken to the Muscatine Transfer Station, 1000 S Houser St., Muscatine, Iowa. Phone: 563-263-9689

The recycling center is located at 1136 N. Walnut St.
